About me and my practice

Life's challenges can leave you feeling overwhelmed and stuck. Individual therapy creates a safe, confidential space for exploring your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences. Together, we will explore the root causes of your struggles, using evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, and DBT to build healthy coping mechanisms.

My description may sound very complicated, but I am a therapist, parent, ex- businesswoman with experience in all sectors of society, and I work in a manner that suits you. My extensive experience and personalised approach empower you to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve your individual goals.

Experience

Counselling is my second career; after spending years working in the corporate and creative sector, volunteering in schools and ten years as an expatriate and mother to 2 teens, I retrained as a counsellor. I believe that this gives me a unique insight into the problems we all face regardless of life stage and culture.

My experience is varied, and my client base is diverse. I have a background working with trauma, anxiety, relationship problems and neurodiversity. And my experience encompasses the education and charitable sector, couples therapy, and private practice.

I offer a supportive environment where you can share your experiences. We work together to identify the obstacles preventing your progress and working together to find constructive solutions.

I am an Accredited Counsellor (MNCPS Acc.) with the The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society in the United Kingdom
